Summary
Based on nationwide surveys and hundreds of personal interviews, this small hardback book functions as a man's tour guide through the complex maze of a women's inner life. It tries to answer such questions as,

-Why does she ask, "Do you love me?" even though you just said "I love you." this morning?
-Why does she, out of nowhere, bring up something that happened two years ago?
-Why does she accuse you of "not caring about her", when you're working long hard hours to provide security for her and the kids?
-Why does she say she doesn't want you to fix it, she just wants you to listen?
-Why does she rarely initiate sex?
-Why does she ask "Do these pants make me look fat?"

Audience

If you're looking for a book that will offer some practical tips for how to better understand and love your wife (or girlfriend) - this book is for you. Despite thinking I had a pretty good grasp on how my wife worked, I found this book extremely helpful (and surprising!). If you're prepared to ignore a few generalizations that won't apply to your specific situation, I think you'll find this book very eye-opening.

If you're a woman seeking to understand your man, you can check out the companion book cleverly titled, "For Women Only"
